This WINDOW is a wonderful early example of the STYLES/DESIGNS used to build BUNGALOW STYLE HOMES in the CHICAGO / BERWYN / CICERO area.
This PRAIRIE STYLE LEADED GLASS WINDOW depicts an era of imagination, creativity and suburban growth during the 1920s-1940s.
The HIGHLY LEADED PLAIN and SIMPLE STYLE of the PRAIRIE DESIGNED WINDOWS feature CLEAR GLASS GEOMETRIC PANELS with areas of GOLD FOIL MIRRORED ACCENTS.
The CONDITION is ANTIQUE / USED.
There is a crack in the glass of one of the window panes.
The window framing needs refurbishing/ reconditioning and re-caulking.
Parts are painted and the varnish shows cracks/crazing.
A piece of the window hardware is still attached to the frame.
