THIS BOOK is followed by books of increasing complex literature and more complete and unabridged works of literature.
THIS BOOK still contains EARLY COLORED PLATE ILLUSTRATIONS that are not found in the later books of this series.
The CONDITION is ESTATE / USED. The spine is tight. The color illustrations are sharp / vibrant.
This was a childrens book and the only writing that we found is in pencil on the inside cover. There is some sort of discoloration / spots on the cover / back near the binding and some wear to the edges. The pages show very little discoloration and there are only a few bent corners.

Wonderful ANTIQUE MUSIC BOOK with the title THE MUSIC HOUR; FIFTH BOOK that was used as an early learning tool for Children.
It contains Sheet Music with Songs by various composers such as: Horatio Parker, Abbie Farwell Brown, Kate Greenaway, Carolyn Wells, John Dryden, and other artists of assorted ethnic backgrounds.
The book contains beautiful early plate illustrations in color and in black and white print.
The CONDITION is ESTATE / USED. This is an old Childrens Book. The binding is tight and the illustrations are dark and vibrant. There is discoloration and some staining / handling on the covers and the edges show some wear. The pages show minor discoloration. There are just a few tears and bent corners. There is writing on the front and back cover pages.
