The CONDITION is ESTATE / USED. The binding is tight. The print is dark and there is some discoloration to the pages. The covers and binding show wear and some useage marks. There is writing in the inside and back covers and the book is some what dusty.

This series of arithmetics was prepared to meet the requirements of progressive school men and women who want practical, usable textbooks, free from fads and sufficient to their purpose. Each book of the series clearly provides for the mathmatics required by the pupils of a given age. The material is well organized and adequately motivated throughout.

This is BOOK ONE in a series of three books; it is planned to provide for work through the second, third, and fourth grades grades of the average school.

The CONDITION is ESTATE / USED. The binding is tight. The print is dark and there is some discoloration to the pages and some pencil marks. There are very minor indications of use to the pages. The covers and binding show wear and some usage marks. There is writing in the inside and back covers and the book is some what dusty.

MR. ELSON was best known for writing the DICK and JANE SERIES of BOOKS.

This BOOK, THE ELSON READERS - BOOK FOUR is a REVISION of an earlier book with the title; The Elson Primary School Readers; book four.

THIS BOOK serves as an important transitional book for children, moving the student into the Reading to Learn approach to literature, that is, the use of the skills built in the earlier books and used to understand and interpret content-the air, of reading.

THIS BOOK is followed by books of increasing complex literature and more complete and unabridged works of literature.

THIS BOOK still contains EARLY COLORED PLATE ILLUSTRATIONS that are not found in the later books of this series.

The CONDITION is ESTATE / USED. The spine is tight. The color illustrations are sharp / vibrant.

This was a childrens book and the only writing that we found is in pencil on the inside cover. There is some sort of discoloration / spots on the cover / back near the binding and some wear to the edges. The pages show very little discoloration and there are only a few bent corners.

The book contains beautiful early plate illustrations in color and in black and white print.

The CONDITION is ESTATE / USED. This is an old Childrens Book. The binding is tight and the illustrations are dark and vibrant. There is discoloration and some staining / handling on the covers and the edges show some wear. The pages show minor discoloration. There are just a few tears and bent corners. There is writing on the front and back cover pages.
