A Bit of Historical information provided by the Henry For Museum..... The idea of producing aluminum cookware came about back in a time when silver / silver plated items were not affordable. As reported by the Henry Ford Museum, the Everlast Company struggled to exist during this time and needed to produce a product that was more affordable. They began producing high-quality hand forged gift ware in the 1930s.
