ART GLASS CLARET / WINE GLASS-BAYEL-BACCHANTE PATTERN
This is a beautiful piece of stemware that was made in FRANCE by the BAYEL GLASS COMPANY.
This CLARET / WINE GLASS features a FIGURAL STEMLINE PATTERN called BACCHANTE. It has a CRYSTAL BOWL / BASE with a SATIN FIGURAL STEM.
BAYEL made a variety of MOLDED FIGURAL STEMWARE. This particular pattern is in in the shape of a woman that is semi-nude / partial draped. The detailing shows that she is carrying a basket of fruit on her head. You can see some of the fruit / grapes hanging out of the basket down her back.
The CONDITION is ESTATE / USED. The crystal is clear.
