RESTAURANT WARE BUTTER PAT ENGLAND-J&G MEAKIN-WALDORF PATTERN
This lovely BUTTER PAT is quite old and was made in HANLEY ENGLAND by the J & G MEAKIN COMPANY.
The BACK STAMP carries what appears to be the pattern name, WALDORF, above the English Crown.
It has a PRIMARY WHITE BACKGROUND. The WALDORF PATTERN is a TRANSFER PRINT that features SCROLLS and FERNS and is in the color GREEN cascading around the edge of the bowl.
The EARLY J & G MEAKIN MARK is in GREEN under the glaze on the bottom.
The CONDITION is FAIR. The glaze is shiny but it shows signs of age and being used.
