ART GLASS VASE LOETZ-STREIFEN & FLECKEN PATTERN
This gorgeous ART GLASS VASE was made by LOETZ (Loetz Witwe of Klostermuhl, Austria) in the early 1900s.
It features a SQUATTED/PINCHED SHAPE, has THREE SIDES, and a PULLED RIM. The GLASS is GREEN TINTED and IRIDESCENT with a METALIC STRIPE/DOT DESIGN PATTERN named STREIFEN und FLECKEN (Stripes and Spots). The METALIC STRIPE DESIGN PATTERN runs from the top to the PONTILE. The bottom of the vase is flat and the PONTILE is POLISHED.
The vase measures:
Height: 4 5/8th inches
All 3 sides at base: 6 inches
Narrows and flares toward/at the top.
The CONDITION is ANTIQUE-GOOD. There are some signs of handling on the bottom that would be from moving this vase on a shelf.
It is not signed or marked.
Circa: EARLY 1900s
