A wonderfull story told in 3-PARTS through the eyes of Charles Dickens about his life and travels in Italy via France and into Algiers. There are no illustrations except from your imagination. The book begins with The Reader's Passport.
The CONDITION is GOOD/FAIR for the age of this book. The HARD COVER is faded and shows wear (binding/edges/corners). The spine is slightly loose but all of the pages are intact. The PAGES of the BOOK have some fading to the print and there is some discoloration and tears.

HARD COVER BOOK PAUL I. WELLMAN-DEATH ON HORSEBACK: 70 YEARS
This HARD COVER BOOK is called DEATH ON HORSEBACK: SEVENTY YEARS OF WAR FOR THE AMERICAN WEST. It is a book about the forceful history of frontier struggles in the Great Southwest between 1836 and 1886; the American Indians and the white man.
The book contains real photo prints from the period.
It is a HARD COVER BOOK. The cover is in ORANGE CLOTH and has THE TITLE PRINTED on the front.
The CONDITION is VERY GOOD. The HARD COVER is slightly faded and/or a bit dusty. It shows light wear has some useage marks. The spine is tight. The PAGES of the BOOK show some discoloration and light useage. There is some crimping in the binding on the bottom as if the book had been dropped.
The DUST COVER is RUST COLORED with men on horseback doing battle. The condition of the DUST COVER is worn/dirty and has some tears/pieces missing.
