BRYCE BLUE WILLOW OAK GLASS SPOON REST or TEA BAG CADDIE This pretty BLUE GLASS SPOON REST or TEA BAG CADDIE would be good to use or to display on a window sill.

It features the WILLOW OAK PATTERN which is FLORAL DESIGN in PANELS and also PRESSED DAISIES.

Our research shows that this pattern was made by two glass companies, BRYCE and U.S. GLASS. Our research also indicates that BRYCE was the only company that made this pattern in BLUE GLASS.

Being that we are not sold on the idea that this glass is an original piece and made in the 1800's, we are still looking for the company that might have made reproductions of this pattern.

The CONDITION is EXCELLENT.

PATTERNED GLASS COMPOTE-BRYCE-HIGBEE-GALA PATTERN This PATTERNED GLASS COMPOTE was made by the J. B. HIGBEE GLASS COMPANY in 1913. It features the GALA PATTERN and is made of CRYSTAL GLASS.

The CONDITION is GOOD. The glass is clear and it shows light useage.

It bears the HIGBEE MARK on the inside of the bowl.

GLASS PRESSED GLASS HIGBEE PANELLED THISTLE COMPOTE This is a lovely CRYSTAL COMPOTE made by the HIGBEE GLASS COMPANY. It features the PANELLED THISTLE PATTERN.

The CONDITION is VINTAGE-USED-GOOD. The glass is very clear. The compote does have some flaws. Some of the flaws are caused during the making of the compote and it also has some useage marks on the bowl. The STEM is very interesting and has a deeple pressed PANEL SHAPE that extends all the way into the base like claws or fingers. The stem does have some chips but they do not distract you from the beauty of this piece.

If you look hard enough you can see the HIGBEE MARK on the inside/center of the bowl.
