ART GLASS EUROPEAN TOASTING GLASSES
This listing is for TWO (2) ART GLASS TOASTING GLASSES that we believe were made in EUROPE or SCANDANAVIA(?).
The design features a CURVED HORN-LIKE SHAPE and both of the GLASSES are BEAUTIFULLY ETCHED. The GLASSES are made of CRYSTAL CLEAR GLASS.
Please note: There is a SILVER PEN INSCRIPTION in a FOREIGN LANGUAGE on BOTH GLASSES. We have not yet determined the origin. The following information is as best as we can decipher the words because they are in writing. We tried to be as accurate as possible but the letters may not all be correct.
The LARGE TOASTING GLASS measures: 12 inches long and has a liquid capacity of 8 ounces. There is a silver pen inscription written on the LARGE GLASS that reads: Leolpoldui Onute (then a word we just cannot decipher) 1996 07 25.
The SMALL TOASTING GLASS measures 8 inches long and has a liquid capacity of 2 ounces. There is a silver pen inscription written on the SMALL GLASS that reads: MONYTEI GIMTA DIEUIO 96 09 07.
The CONDITION is VERY GOOD-USED. There are no chips or scratch marks.
Please feel free to contact us if you are in need of additional information or if you recognize the language written on these glasses.

ART GLASS BLUE CASED LAMP BASE?BOTTLE?BARBER?
All we can say is I dream of Genie!
This unusual piece is beautifully cased and is in the shape of a LAMP BASE? BOTTLE? BARBER? From the style and color it matches a variety of manufactures from American based Fenton to Scandinavian Holmgaard.
For lack of the true pattern name we will give it one. It features an EMPRESS DESIGN and is made BLUE/WHITE CASED GLASS.
We do not see any marks in the inside of the neck of the bottle indicating that it used to have a finial/stopper/pour spout. That leads us to believe that this piece possibly was made to be a lamp base.
Use your imagination or use this as a vase. The choice is yours.
We will continue to research this item and hopefully will be able to provide you with more complete information.
