VINTAGE ROSENTHAL MONBIJOU CHRYSANTHEMUM COVERED VEGETABLE BOWLS This is a VINTAGE ROSENTHAL COVERED VEGETABLE BOWL.

It features the MONBIJOU BLANK and has a delicate FLORAL TRANSFER DESIGN of CHRYSANTHEMUMS in the colors of PURPLE and YELLOW with GREEN LEAVES.

The TWO ORNAMENTAL HANDLES and KNOB on the LID are accented in GOLD.

We currently have 2 of these VEGETABLE BOWLS for sale ITEMS A & B.

The CONDITION of BOTH PIECES A & B is VERY GOOD. After carefull inspection there are a couple of imperfections:
COVERED VEGETABLE BOWL-A
3 small chips/flakes on lid top near edge

COVERED VEGETABLE BOWL-B
1 small chip on edge of bowl
1 small crack on rim
1 small crack across part of the handle (this may have happend during the firing process).

The PHILIP ROSENTHAL & COMPANY CROWN R.C. MONBIJOU PATTERN MARK is in GREEN along with the number 2365 in red (under the glaze). There is also an artist mark in red under the glaze.

The CONDITION is GOOD. The HANDLES have been broken off. The area where the handles were connected is rough. We will provide additional photos of this area before purchase is made.

It has the PHILIP ROSENTHAL & COMPANY CROWN R./C. MONBIJOU PATTERN MARK in GREEN under the glaze on the bottom.

The FOOTED CUP features a 12 sided design and has an indented foot. The MARIA PATTERN is around the rim of the foot of the cup. The height is 2 1/4 inches and the liquid capacity is 8 ounces.

The SAUCER features a ROUND DESIGN and has the MARIA PATTERN around the rim. The diameter is 6 1/4 inches.

This is a very striking set!

VINTAGE HAND PAINTED PLATE-ROSENTHAL-WILD VIOLETS-ARTIST KIMMEL This delicate HAND PAINTED PLATE was made by PHILIP ROSETHAL and COMPANY of BAVARIA. It features WARM TONES of PINK, YELLOW, GREEN, and ORANGE. The HAND PAINTED FLORAL is WILD VIOLETS. The ARTISTS name is KIMMEL.

The CONDITION is VINTAGE. The colors are warm and muted with some accents in a gloss. There is a scratch on the plate that can barely be seen and some wear to the paint at the edge of the plate.

The PHILIP ROSENTHAL MARK is on the back along with the ARTISTS SIGNATURE.
