ART GLASS AMERICAN VERLYS CRYSTAL TASSELS BOWL
Verlys of America is a product of the Verlys division of the Holophane Glass Company, Newark, Ohio, which in turn is associated with the Societe Anonyme Holophane of Les Andelys, France, parent company of Verlys of France.
We understand that this glassware was also made by the Heisey Glass Company.
This BEAUTY of a BOWL features a method that uses a CRYSTAL CLEAR GLASS inner core and a SATIN GLASS outer core (for lack of the actual process name). The PATTERN is PRESSED from the BOTTOM which creates a DRAMATIC 3-DIMENSIONAL look from the top. Very creative and elegant to display especially for that CONTEMPORARY LOOK.
The CONDITION is GOOD. It has some scratch marks from use.
It has the DIAMOND PEN VERLYS mark in script on the bottom.
