Showing Limoges influence this truly elegant china was MADE IN JAPAN by the MEITO CHINA COMPANY.
The LARGE PLATTER features a PRIMARY WHITE BACKGROUND COLOR with a PALE YELLOW WIDE BANDED BORDER that has a HAND PAINTED WREATH/FLORAL/FAN SCROLL PATTERN DESIGN.
The rim has THINNER BAND in GREEN. All of the COLORS are PASTEL COLORS and the edge trimmed in GOLD.
Our reseaarch shows that this china was produced during the 1940's - 1950's.
The CONDITION of the LARGE SERVING PLATTER is VERY GOOD. It shows signs of only light useage.
The MANUFACTURES STAR MARK/MADE IN JAPAN is in RED under the GLAZE on the back.
