TOWLES CABIN SILVER PLATED ADVERTISING SPOON This is a Towles Cabin Collector Spoon. Its stem looks like a tree trunk and it has a log cabin at the top of the spoon with an advertisement on it. It is silver plated and measurers 4 1/2 inches long. The CONDITION is EXCELLENT.

At the tip of the stem it has a model of the Cathedral along with the printed words New Orleans and the year 1794 and along the stem it has the words St. Louis Cathedral. STORY BOOK CHILD'S SPOON MOUSE DESIGN I have never seen a spoon quite like this. It is very unique. The bowl and stem are both decorated conservatively. About 2 inches of the stem is designed to be a feather with 2 mice on it. One is nibbling on the feather and the other is standing. The bowl has 2 designs on it that look similar to kites streaking across the sky. The spoon might have been made to depict a scene from a childrens fable. The spoon measurers 4 1/2 inches long and is made of pewter. The spoon has no markings.
