VINTAGE LIGHTING - T.V. LAMP-TURKEY with VENETIAN GLASS FLOWERS This is a VINTAGE TABLE/T.V. LAMP. It is unmarked but the original owner has told us that it was made in CZECHOSLOVAKIA. It features a PORCELAIN BASE PLANTER shaped like a TURKEY and there are VENETIAN GLASS FLOWERS with GLASS PETALS extending upward from the base.

The COLORS of the TURKEY are; GREEN, BROWN, and RED. The height is 7 1/2 inches. The Length is 8 inches. The Width is 6 inches.

The COLORS of the VENETIAN GLASS FLOWERS/PETALS are; PINK, YELLOW, GREEN. The STEMS are wrapped with a fabric thread.
The height of TALLEST FLOWER measuring from the INSIDE of the base is 8 1/2 inches high.

The CONDITION is VERY GOOD. All of the flowers are intact and there is no damage. There are signs of light useage on the bottom of the planter. The lamp has the original cord and is in working condition.

VINTAGE LIGHTING TABLE LAMP - HOUZE / CONVEX GLASS - SLAG GLASS This is wonderful example of SLAG GLASS!

This VINTAGE TABLE LAMP was made by the L.G. HOUZE - CONVEX GLASS COMPANY. Our research indicates that the green carmel slag glass is also considered CUSTARD GLASS and that it was used in the early years of production of products made by the HOUZE GLASS COMPANY.

This TABLE LAMP features a SLAG GLASS URN SHAPED BODY in a CREAMY GREEN and CHOCOLATE BROWN SLAG (glows yellow when tested with a black light). The BASE and NECK and FINIAL are metal. All of the metal pieces have been PAINTED GOLD except for the FINIAL.

It has TWO BULB SOCKETS.

It has the ORIGINAL WIRING.

It is not labeled or marked by the manufacturer.

The CONDITION is ESTATE / USED. There is a chip in the glass where the urn meets the neck. The finial shows some wear. It has the original wiring. We recommend that you have this lamp rewired as a fire safety precaution.
